Fresh Music Thursday - Vol 3

It's Fresh Music Thursday!  We've taken a two week hiatus, but we're back today with some good stuff.  

Shovels and Rope is a band I've been listening to quite a bit lately.  Their song "Birmingham" is really great, and the music video is even better.  If it doesn't tug at your heart, check yo' pulse.

One of my favorite songs of all time - "In The Light."  And this is my favorite version of it performed by the writer, Charlie Peacock. It's full of heart and authenticity and incredible mandolin play. Living in the Light is a daily prayer, because i too am a scoundrel in constant need of redemption.
