Hello everyone! I just got home from yoga class. I started going a little over a month ago after I threw out my back while pulling on my boots. After two days lying down, I thought I'd try yoga so I could strengthen my bed-ridden back. And I love it! I was skeptical at first ( thinking it's not exercise, right?). I was proven wrong after the first class. I think I used every muscle in my body I feel great! Yay for extreme stretching!
Anyway, I shot these pictures on Monday with Amy and Ryan. We shot at Amy's parents' farm and it is beautiful! But alas, it was raining, so we had that limitation. The rain aside, it was wonderful. They are fun high school sweethearts and I can't wait for their wedding in August!

I shot these photos of Rachel and Matt on Sunday and I am very pleased with this downtown shoot. I love shooting downtown because there are so many little nooks and cranny's yet to be discovered. These two were very fun and I am excited for their August wedding. August seems so soon to me, yet I am getting hitched in June. What does this mean? The 6th of June is just around the corner! Wow! I cannot wait to be Mrs. Lawson.

My wedding invitations are here! I love them. They are from Hello! Lucky and they are awesome! I am only including a little snippet of a picture because I don't want to ruin the ohhs and ahhs when the postman delivers the little beauties. How are wedding plans going, you might ask? Swimmingly. Here's the latest (we are 52 days out!):
1. Gabe and I measured Highbridge Pavilion (the reception site) the other day to figure out how many lights we need. If you are getting married out there and need all the measurements, let me know.
2. I found awesome shoes at Macy's the other day. They are purple, just sayin. I am still on the hunt for the perfect earrings.
3. Last weekend I headed to IKEA (and then Anthropologie!) with my friend, Lizbeth, and we bought the favors. I am going to keep those on the DL for now.
4. And dad is buying a lot of wood for the centerpieces.
5. Our engagement shoot was the other day and it was so fun! Hooray and yikes for being on the other side of the camera. Props to all my brides who become models for me out there.
6. We have had two showers thus far. Very fun. I'm sorry I haven't posted pictures yet.
Cryptic, I know. But I don't to tell you too much. Some stuff just has to be a surprise!
Last Friday evening Gabe and I traveled to Louisville for Alex and Taylor's engagement shoot. Boy, did we have a blast. We shot all around downtown! These two are so much fun and great in front of the camera! Thanks to you all, Taylor and Alex! Enjoy the photos!
