Dallyce and Matt: Engagement Shoot in Georgetown

I am loving all the fall colors in these photos.  Dallyce and Matt match the oranges, reds, and yellows so well!  Gabe is glad to have a fellow redhead on the blog again.    :) I cannot wait to get out of the office and enjoy autumn!  Gabe and I thought we'd go hiking out of town last weekend but the hike turned into local trails, which turned into strolling in the park nearby, which turned into a walk around the neighborhood.  Alas.  I hate it when that happens.  I think we are going to give it another try on Sunday.  My ankle is ready!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

David and Hannah: Engaged, Now Married

I was sitting on Hannah and David's engagement shoot because I really liked it and was waiting to post it at just the right time.  As days went by and I contemplated this "right posting time," their wedding crept up on me and I never posted the engagement shoot.  Ha! Alas. Hannah and David were my 10.10.10 wedding.  Gabe and I wanted to get married on 10.10.10 but it is in the middle of his school semester and it just worked out better for us to have a June wedding.  I am so glad it worked out that way and we were able to shoot David and Hannah's wedding.  They are a lovely and fun couple!  Hannah lives in Georgia so we only got to meet with her once in person and met David for the first time at the engagement shoot.  When I introduced myself to David, I looked at him and had that "I know you from somewhere but I have no idea where" moment.  He did too.  As I started hobbling along (the sprain repercussions) we figured it out.  He was my doctor when I sprained my ankle last month!  What are the odds?

Grant and Jack

These boys were wonderful to work with and they are so adorable!  I think the whole family belongs in a JCrew catalog.  Grant (the older boy) and I walked around Keeneland and took pictures while Jack woke up from a nap.  He was so great in front of the camera!  Maybe because I guessed Thomas the Train is one of his favorite toys.  He was surprised I knew the names of Thomas and his friends.  I do indeed, thanks to Nathan and Noah. Thanks so much, Maria!  Enjoy!

The boys got distracted from modeling at one point because they saw a plane.  :)

Yasmin and Sunny: Engaged

All I have to say is WOW.  These two look AWESOME in front of a camera.  There I go again with all caps.   Thanks for a great afternoon full of good conversation and modeling, Yasmin and Sunny!  I had such a fun time getting to know you! PS - Scroll down for Anne's portrait shoot post and a picture of tomorrow tomorrow's bride and groom, David and Hannah.

I think these first two are my favorites.

I love Yasmin's look in this picture above.
