We knew they were an HHP match when we met them at a wedding show last year. Then I saw how perfect they are for each other when I shot their engagement photos last fall. And finally, a few weeks ago, their wedding arrived and they were officially man and wife. Brian and Amy rocked their wedding out: bagpipe style. Yes, that's right. They had a bagpipe player conclude their ceremony. It was a surprise to their guests. Another surprise: confetti cake. I love a wedding with intention surprises. Thanks a million to this beautiful couple for letting us participate in their day!

Brian and Amy, you guys take the confetti cake.
And now, the vendors:

Kelly and I clicked from the beginning. She had this grand vision of what she wanted her wedding to be and I could totally see what she meant - and I loved it! The ceremony and reception was at the Lexington Opera House - and it was absolutely beautiful. Her vision came together perfectly. She was absolutely beautiful, Jonathan looked awesome, and it turned out to be such a fun and amazing day. One thing that was cool about her wedding - the food, the band, the cake, - everything but the photographers - was contributed by their families/friends! How cool is that? It was truly a family and friend affair, which means even more to us that they would ask us to be apart and capture their amazing day. Thanks again Kelly and Jonathan.
What a fantastic couple and an amazing night!!
I tend to leave the second "E" out of engagements. I've never been the best typist. In middle school, when I first took a typing class, I spent most of the class time working on pictures created out of letters (see Pam Beesley's example below). Figures I'd become a photographer.
Check out this cute couple below! Allie is a friend of a friend (shout out to Jane) and she sure looks good in front of the camera. Jonathan's not too shabby either. Allie and Jonathan are high school sweethearts. She needed a prom date, he was the lucky guy to take her. Prom went well. So well that they dated long distance for the next five years. Soon they will be Mr and Mrs and I am so glad we are part of the day!
During the wardrobe change Gabe decided to take a few nature shots. This is my favorite.
Erin and David are one of those couples that every time we see them we say, "Man, we are glad they booked us!" Gabe and I have so much fun with them, they feel like old friends to us. To top it off, their wedding will be my 100th! Can you believe it?!
I love Erin and David's love. They are perfect together.

I hopped on the fence for a high angle. Shout out to my ten year old Nikes. They are looking rough but they are may favorite shooting shoes.
