Alicia and Jordan: Wilmore Wedding

Jordan and Alicia got hitched a couple weeks ago and we had a lot of fun.  Mostly because they are friends of ours.  Gabe and Jordan are old college buddies so he is friends with a lot of the groomsmen which made for fun times with the group shots!  This weekend is our last wedding for a few weeks, which is very exciting!  I am ready for some R&R!

Oh all the faces and expressions of Alicia.  So beautiful!

And here is a face of Jordan from Gabe's camera.  Love it!

Thad, our friend, noticed how hard Gabe was working and had a special request for me.  We'll see.

I love when the parents come up to the altar and say a prayer for the couple.  Such a blessing.

Jordan and Alicia love LOST and incorporated a few of the show's elements into the reception.  I thought I'd put the fish biscuits to use.  And then eat one.  Wouldn't want it to go to waste.  PS - I look a little crazed in this shot.  :)

David and Hannah: Wedding in a Vineyard

I love weddings at wineries(thanks Talon Winery)!  Especially this one because not only did we have the vines, we also had Hannah and David and their fabulous style.  Hannah had a tree/leaf theme going on and it was perfect for 10.10.10.  I am so glad we go to be a part of the day.  A little known fact (now well known I suppose): Gabe was really sick the day of the wedding.  He actually threw up in the vines after we finished all the portraits. Correction.  Around the vines.  He was careful not to disturb the growing grapes.  :)  He powered through the day and got some amazing shots!  We think he had the flu or something.  He did manage to eat some cake though.  Hard to resist Magees!  This is post one of three so the pictures will load easier.  Enjoy!

Casey and Greg: Part Two

I had a lovely day today.  Gabe and I hiked, ate doughnuts, shopped for a couch and napped.  I hadn't done any of those in a long time!  Except eat doughnuts. We have those on a regular basis. Our big adventure this week is Chic-Fil-A!  We are going to Louisville to camp out at an opening, all day long!  If we are 2 of the first 100 people in line, we each get 50 free chicken meals.  Gabe is a seasoned veteran at waiting in the chicken, this is my first experience.  I am excited!  So here's to eating more chicken and editing several photo shoots and a wedding in the next three days before I leave. Enjoy the rest of Casey and Greg!

Casey and her dad before the ceremony.  Nice shot, Gabe!

Another steal by Gabe, a kiss for Grandpa.

Many thanks to Casey and Greg's families.  It was pleasure working with you!

Lauren and Barrett: Engaged

Hello again.  Two posts in one day!  I actually have another Casey and Greg post but I will save it for tomorrow. I had a wonderful time with Lauren and Barrett.  We must have walked a couple miles all around downtown Lexington; and it was so fun!  I love when I can just enjoy an afternoon with people and they are willing to stop anywhere for pictures.  Lauren and Barrett were more than willing.  Thanks, you all. Gabe and I are going to Charleston, SC for their June wedding and cannot wait!

PS - Check out Dallyce and Matt's pictures below, another lovely MLP couple!
