The Smith Family

This is the Smith family. We had a great time shooting one cool afternoon. They are so fun. You can tell just from their pictures that their is a lot of love in this family - something that's always great to see.  Here are a few images from their shoot:

(Above) These two are high school sweethearts who are engaged to be married in 2011. Wahoo!! We have the pleasure of photographing their wedding! Knowing these two, it's going to be an amazing occasion...

Henry!

This is Henry: And here are his mom and dad:

I love his little sweater.

What a cute family!

We shot at the beautiful Lexington Cemetery, full of colorful leaves and duck ponds.

Henry loved the duck pond.  We loved the abandoned bread left by yesterdays visitors.  It gave Henry something to do and laugh at.

Gabe saw these pictures and said, "That is a cool kid!"

Thanks, Jack, Amy, and Henry!  I had a lovely Saturday morning with you!

Brittany and Chris: Engaged!

Well, MLP has almost wrapped up another wedding season.  I shot my last wedding on Sunday for six weeks!  What am I going to do with six free Saturdays?  They are already filling up with our third annual Apple Day, a 5k (yikes!), lots of holiday baking, album designing and photo editing.  This leads to an MLP announcement: If you have not chosen your pictures for your wedding album, please so before Saturday if you would like your album before Christmas.  Thanks!

Enjoy these pictures from my latest engagement shoot.  All I have to say is yay for fall light!

What is a Sanzone?!

The other day Gabe commented on Facebook that we were getting ready to have a Sanzone-tastic weekend and someone posed this blog post's title question.  Well, here they are!  The Sanzones!  Eric and Ashleigh are dear old friends and Eric was my youth pastor when I was growing up.  They have since moved away and it is always wonderful to see them when they come to visit Kentucky.  This visit, they stayed with Gabe and me.  We had too much fun, all crammed in our little house.  The weekend was fill of laughter, horsey rides, good conversation, and of course, a photo shoot.  They wanted something KY-esque, so I thought Keeneland would do the trick.  Not only are the Sanzones one of the best families ever but they also resemble Gap models.  Love you all!
